Wit is hier de rustige basis, en juist dat maakt ruimte voor de twee tinten die de toon zetten. Indigo legt een diepe, koele blauwlaag over de zijkanten, terwijl burgundy — dat warme, donkere wijnrood — de accenten aanzet. Die drie kleuren botsen niet, ze wisselen elkaar af: een schoon vlak, dan een vleugje blauw, dan een streep die naar bordeaux trekt. Het geeft de BB550PWB een eigen, rustig karakter zonder dat het om aandacht schreeuwt.
De 550 blijft een laag model met atletische lijnen, en de gelaagde panelen laten de kleuren pas echt hun werk doen — elk vlak vangt net een ander deel van het palet op. Draag 'm bij een strakke spijkerbroek zodat het wit vooraan staat, of speel juist in op de burgundy met een donkerrode of bruine bovenlaag. Wit vraagt af en toe een schoonmaakbeurt, maar de kleurstelling blijft fris genoeg om er lang plezier van te houden.
