Zand, driftwood, een vleugje moonbeam: deze 2002R houdt het volledig in aardetinten. Warme beige- en zandkleuren lopen over de hele schoen door, met net genoeg toonverschil tussen de lagen om het silhouet diepte te geven. De opbouw is bewust gelaagd — meerdere panelen die in elkaar overlopen, afgewerkt met subtiel reliëf in de overlays en fijne screenprints die je pas van dichtbij echt ziet. Het resultaat is rustig en verzorgd, een colorway die zich nergens opdringt maar wel blijft hangen. Voor de kenner: dit is de M2002RSI.
Onder je voet zit een dubbele demping die het dagelijkse loopwerk verzacht: de ACTEVA LITE-tussenzool veert soepel mee, terwijl de ABZORB-hiel de zwaarste stappen opvangt zodat je aan het eind van de dag nog fris staat. Die neutrale zandbasis is bovendien makkelijk te combineren — zet er een crème of olijfgroene broek onder en de warme tinten komen meteen tot leven.
