Diep Court Purple zet hier de toon: een paars dat overdag rustig en volwassen oogt, tot je in het donker stapt. Dan lichten de fosforescerende skelet-graphics op — ribben, botten, een compleet anatomisch spel dat over het leren bovenwerk kruipt. De witte tussenzool en witte veters houden alles fris en scherp afgestoken, zodat het paars extra diepte krijgt. Deze Air Force 1 '07 QS (CU8067-500) verscheen rond Halloween 2021 en draagt dat thema met plezier, zonder in kitsch te vervallen.
Het leren bovenwerk is meer dan sfeer: het houdt zijn vorm, kreukt netjes en veeg je met een doekje zo weer schoon. In de zool zit Nike Air-demping die je stappen opvangt, zodat je hem een hele dag comfortabel draagt. Combineer 'm met een strakke zwarte broek en laat het witte onderwerk het werk doen — en bewaar de echte verrassing voor zodra de lichten uitgaan.
