Upon its release in 1997, the Nike Air Max Uptempo housed the biggest Air cushioning unit of any Nike basketball sneaker. Almost two decades after the OG debuted, Nike retro’d the high top silhouette in a simple black and white colorway. The upper is made of suede with mesh material on the tongue.
