Nike Air Max 90 London Underground "Roundel" (651322-106)
The Nike Air Max 90 London Underground "Roundel" was Nike’s first attempt to use jacquard material as the base for the upper. Inspired by the upholstery of London Underground trains, jacquard was used to create a single woven upper that transitions from tan blocks to red, brown and black blocks. In this sneaker, traditional AM90 overlays are replaced by a single piece of jacquard material, with the Nike Swoosh in this material too. Nike made use of colour-clocking changes to depict the traditional Air Max 90 overlays on the London Underground AM90. Finished with a translucent foam sole and supportive midfoot shank that glows neon green in the dark, this 2013 exclusive sneaker is available on Solezilla!
