Puma brings the Cell Dome, a retro silhouette that crosses 90s performance and streetwear. Designed by Puma’s in-house design team in response to demand for stability during cross-training. The concept builds on the CELL technology that surfaced in the late 1990s. That technology uses hexagonal cushioning cells for targeted shock absorption. The originals first appeared as performance runners and later made their way onto the streets.FeaturesUpper combines mesh with suede overlays and a neoprene sock construction for comfort. Midsole uses EVA with visible CELL units in the heel for stability. Rubber outsole has multi-directional lugs for traction on asphalt and concrete. TPU heel clip keeps the foot in place during lateral movements. Insole provides cushioning and a removable sockliner for a personalized fit. Lacing system with traditional eyelets and a slightly oversized tongue for 90s aesthetics.
