About Nike Winflo 11
Nike Winflo 11
The Winflo is Nike’s affordable daily trainer, and the eleventh generation sticks to that role. The model sits between entry-level shoes and pricier trainers: more cushioning than the former, less technology than the latter, at a price in between.
The construction is straightforward. In the midsole there is a Zoom Air unit under the forefoot, the thin air cushion with fibers that Nike uses in its faster models, surrounded by a layer of foam. The upper is a knitted mesh with stitched overlays that keep the foot in place, and the Swoosh sits as a large panel over the side. Under the shoe there is rubber where it wears most, with a carved groove down the middle that guides the roll-off.
That Zoom Air element is the distinction from the entry-level models: it gives the shoe a more direct response on push-off, which is especially noticeable when you pick up the pace. For easy long runs the difference disappears.
Within the range the Nike Revolution 7 is the simpler entry model, the Nike Vomero 18 the softest-cushioned trainer and the Nike Structure 25 the stability choice.
