About Adidas Stella McCartney

Adidas Stella McCartney

The collaboration with Stella McCartney is adidas’s longest-running designer line, and also its most principled. The British designer has worked with the brand since 2004 and refuses to use leather or fur, which means every model in this line must be realised using alternative materials. What began as sportswear for women grew into a complete footwear offering.

That constraint determines the appearance. The uppers are made of mesh, recycled textiles and plant-based alternatives, often in off-white with grey accents, and the soles contain visibly reused material: you can see the coloured speckles in the white foam. The designer’s name is printed in small letters along the heel and on the tongue, without further embellishment.

The line leans on the brand’s existing models but translates them each time to these principles. Thus there are versions based on the Adidas UltraBOOST, including a striking sandal version, and models designed entirely for recyclability: intended to be processed back into raw materials after use rather than thrown away.

This makes this page a different kind of collection than the regular model pages: the common thread is not a single silhouette but a single design philosophy.

On this page you can see which versions of the Adidas Stella McCartney are currently the hottest according to the Hypescore, the starting price at which they can be found and how many shops have them in stock.
