About Adidas Ozmorph

adidas Ozmorph

The adidas Ozmorph pushes the Oz design language furthest toward a technical direction. The silhouette is low and sleek, with sculptural overlays that sit like a shield over the upper and a midsole that looks more sculpted than stacked. Where the Ozweego is still clearly a 1990s running shoe, the Ozmorph looks decisively forward.

The upper combines mesh with synthetic panels and deliberately keeps the construction minimal, so the forms do the work. The three stripes are subtly integrated rather than applied as a separate graphic element. That makes it a shoe that is especially strong in solid colorways: then you see the construction, not the color.

It’s important to know that under the same name there is also the Ozmorphis, the version designer Mr. Bailey created with adidas. That version goes a step further with a sock-like high collar, a pronounced exoskeleton and a toggle closure instead of regular laces. The standard Ozmorph model is clearly more accessible, but shares the same futuristic bent. Those who appreciate that direction but want something more wearable should look at the Ozrah.
