Look at the stripes and the trefoil that isn’t there
The difference with the Stan Smith is in two places. There, the three stripes exist only as rows of perforations in the leather; here they sit as flat, stitched bands on top of the upper. And nowhere on this shoe is the trefoil: on the tongue is the straight, linear logo of the performance line. That’s the quickest way to tell the two apart, faster than the price tag.

Inside is the springy foam footbed this product line is named for, and that’s also its most honest selling point: a Grand Court is softer out of the box than the classics it resembles.
