What you'll find here

The 990 is the most expensive running shoe in the brand's line and has been since the first version. The construction is recognizable: an upper of grey suede with mesh in between, a wide sole with a sturdy midsection and a large N on the side. Part of the production still runs through the brand's own factories in the United States and the United Kingdom, which largely explains the price difference with the rest of the lineup.

The generations mainly differ in cushioning and weight; the shape remains close to the original, so older and newer models continue to be sold side by side. In addition, a smaller series is offered under the Fresh Foam name, with a lighter sole and a lower price. Most of the offerings consist of grey and black versions; colorways from collaborations form a smaller group and disappear from the shelves faster. Below you can filter by size, color and target audience to see what's available now.
