The R1 PK sock collar design of the NMD silhouette expanded in 2017 with the international release of the NMD R1 PK Japan Boost Black Grey colourway consisting of a dusky grey upper, dark grey elements, a white Boost midsole, and ‘The Brand With the Three Stripes’ written in Japanese in white along the upper stripe. The design is complete with decorative white line stitching on the heel, thick white stripes along the color and on the front plug in place of the traditional adidas logo.
