Wit en zwart bepalen hier de toon, met neutraal grijs dat de overgangen zacht maakt. Zo krijg je een Air Max 1 die overal bij kleurt zonder braaf te worden: de zwarte swoosh en het zwarte hielstuk zetten net genoeg contrast tegen de overwegend lichte bovenkant. Grijze suede-panelen brengen textuur en diepte, terwijl het witte onderwerk het silhouet luchtig houdt. Een kleurstelling voor wie clean draagt maar niet in de massa wil verdwijnen — en voor de kenner staat DZ2628-102 op het label.
