Kanye West and the Yeezy models
Kanye West is behind the Yeezy line, which he developed together with adidas. More than four hundred versions are associated with his name, spread across around ten models. The largest of these is the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, followed by a series of heavier silhouettes from the same years. The line splits into two directions. On one side are the low, knitted models that fit snugly around the foot and sit on a foam sole. On the other side are the heavier silhouettes with a wide, layered sole and an upper made from multiple materials. Grey, beige and sand appear throughout the range more often than bold colorways; that is the clearest common thread across the models.
Besides the 350 V2, the Boost 700 and the 500 are the largest branches, with smaller lines such as the Foam Runner, which is made from a single piece of molded foam.
