Tony Hardman: models and current offerings
Tony Hardman is associated within Nike with a small number of basketball models, together accounting for more than a hundred variants. Most come from the PG line, Paul George’s signature shoes, alongside a range of team models intended for entire squads and supplied in large quantities. The PG models are low-profile and lightweight, with a closed upper of synthetic or knit material and cushioning tuned for quick changes of direction. Within the basketball category this is therefore one of the most readily available lines.
The main branches are the PG 4, the PG 5 and the PG 6, which mainly differ in midsole construction and upper; their sizing is close to one another. Also included here are a range of Nike Team models, with a more restrained design and a more limited color palette. Those models are ordered per team and therefore more often appear in solid base colors than in eye-catching combinations.
