Concepts (CNCPTS) is the influential boutique from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Since 1996, the team has mixed fashion, art, and culture into collaborations that leave a mark on sneakerland. Always razor-sharp storytelling, proprietary material mixes, and bold details — with that collectible energy.
Concepts wrote its name into the archive with the Nike SB Dunk Low from the Lobster series: launched in 2008 and continued with later variants, from a Friends & Family release to drops in 2009, 2018, and 2021. The signature: an elastic band over the toebox nodding to claws, and a checkered lining like the tablecloth at a New England seafood spot.
Beyond that, the label sinks its teeth into countless silhouettes. New Balance gets classics and new work alike: 998 C-Note, 57/40 Headin’ Home, 1906U Hours And Days, 740 Brut and Saignée, and the 1000 Míle. Nike switches from Air Max 1 SP variants to Kyrie 6 Khepri and Kyrie 7 Concepts. Asics signs on for the Gel-Lyte III Otoro and Gel-Lyte V Libertea. Reebok (Question Mid ’96 Draft), adidas (ZX 9000 Boston Marathon and Adizero Aruku Concepts Exclusive), Vans (Sk8-Hi World’s End), Converse (Chuck 70 Southern Flame) and Puma (Mostro Fey Suede) are on the board too.
