News breaking grand larceny makes for stunning inspiration with the 2017 limited edition Concepts x adidas Ultra Boost EQT Support 93/16 collaboration. The Black colourway of the collection is an homage to the 1978 Lufthansa Heist at JFK airport and the 1990 movie Goodfellas. Embodying the cool intrigue of the crime, the design comes with an all-black suede and nylon upper on the lateral side, complete with black Three-Stripe ribbons merging into the laces, transitioning to white Three-Stripe ribbons on the medial side and contrasting white overlays on the medial upper. The colour shift makes for a striking look, requiring a double take to truly admire all that’s involved in the design and performance of the white Boost midsole and a black Continental rubber outsole, highlighted by a Money Green Torsion spring.
