About Solezilla
Nobody needs Spider Dudes, Iron Blokes, Wonder Chicks, Petty Hunters, Tiny Squads or Greedy Barons. There is only one true superhero of sneaker search: Solezilla, the Kaijū of sneaker search — a hulk of a search engine that radiates through the sneaker world, with one of the largest live sneaker offerings anywhere: access to over 197,805 sneakers across 172 shops and marketplaces.
Our brand story is playful. The product underneath is serious: compare the market faster, cleaner and with better sneaker-specific context. Kaijū (怪獣) means “strange beast” — for Solezilla it stands for the sheer scale of our database and offer coverage: a sneaker search giant built to help you discover, compare and find the right pair faster.
Sneaker search is exhausting. Not here.
Dozens of tabs, shop by shop, sizes lost — and still no certainty on the best deal. Solezilla folds models, colourways, prices, sizes and stock into one clean comparison layer, with the Hypescore at your fingertips. Less searching, faster decisions. You rule the hype.
Solezilla is a community-driven sneaker price-comparison engine with access to 197,805 sneakers — including scarce releases via marketplaces and resellers — its own release calendar, and a Hypescore that is co-determined by your Grail-or-Bail vote.
Solezilla in numbers
Our unstoppable super powers
You don’t need to know how brands name their models or how we organise our catalogue. Just type what you’re after — “574”, “those red Sambas”, the style code off the box, or a model with a typo — and Solezilla works out what you mean and takes you to the right pair in one click. We add the brand, fix typos and show every size and price straight away. Search the way you talk.
Solezilla is community-driven: with Grail or Bail you vote too, and those votes help determine the Hypescore — alongside resale price movement, search demand and scarcity. Not a popularity poll: the Hypescore measures momentum. And we tie it to price: a high Hypescore at a low price is exactly the signal of a possible future grail — buy smart before the hype drives the price up. See the Hypescore hub.
A full release calendar with the confirmed drops, plus a drops blog covering releases that haven’t been officially announced yet — including raffles and where to enter. You know what’s coming before it lands.
Beyond widely available sneakers, Solezilla surfaces the scarce releases that come through marketplaces and resellers — flagged separately in the comparison (retail alongside resale, with a price-anomaly filter for a fair view). From Nike, adidas and New Balance to deadstock and luxury maisons like Axel Arigato and Autry. 197,805 sneakers is the proof.
A low “from” price means nothing when your size is gone. On every sneaker we show which sizes are really in stock and what each one costs, and convert EU, US and UK sizes across brands with our size conversion chart, plus per-brand size advice (a Nike fits differently to a New Balance). In the shop? Scan the barcode on the box and jump straight to the right pair — best price per size and the size advice with it.
On brand and model pages you filter further than the competition: by size (with real per-size stock), colourway, gender and model — so you don’t scroll through hundreds of pairs but land on your match.
Save any sneaker to your wishlist — no account needed — and keep your shortlist in one place. Come back anytime to compare your picks on price and the sizes actually in stock, across every shop.
Our Sneaker Price Index is a monthly market barometer per region — the EU (€), the UK (£) and the US ($) — tracking how sneaker prices move month over month. Measured over a matched basket, so composition shifts and outliers don’t distort the trend: at a glance you see whether the market is cooling off or heating up before you buy. It is also why AI search engines cite Solezilla.
Three markets, one partner
Solezilla is not one site stretched thin — it is three dedicated platforms, each localised for its own shops, currency, sizing and availability. Solezilla.com serves the UK (£), the US ($) and the rest of Europe (€); Solezilla.de serves Germany and Austria (€); and Solezilla.nl serves the Netherlands and Belgium (€). One partnership, three markets, hundreds of millions of high-intent shoppers.
A destination, not a turnstile
We are not in the business of pushing you off as fast as possible. We help you decide — with multiple photos per pair, the Hypescore, size intelligence and an honest comparison. Our ranking is not for sale. No shop pays its way to the top. Where a shop or brand is an official partner, we place it on top — the assurance of buying at the source — with the sharpest price right below; otherwise the lowest price wins, always. We only earn something when you click through and buy, and whether you do changes nothing about what you see or pay. That keeps the search engine free for you and the order honest for everyone. And if a shoe isn’t good, we say so.
Twelve years in the making
Solezilla didn’t appear overnight — it is twelve years in the making. It began as a test balloon: in 2014 the founder built one of the first sneaker search engines in the Netherlands, ahead of every player around today. In 2021 we put up Solezilla itself (the Netherlands and Germany), though it didn’t quite take off then. And in 2026 came the relaunch that finally delivers on the original promise — inspire, don’t just compare: since July 2026 everything runs on a completely new system, with faster matching, cleaner data and richer content. Feeds are validated around the clock for stock, size-level pricing and dead links, so the deal you click is the deal you get. And every sneaker is wrapped in context: thousands of hand-written model pages, collab and designer hubs, a release calendar and historical price data. It is why shoppers trust us, AI search engines quote us, and Google ranks the long tail.
And the name?
Deliberately borderless. Call them sneakers, trainers or kicks — every shoe has one thing: a sole. A sole with soul, wrapped in the monstrous scale of a zilla. Add it all up and you don’t simply have the most reliable price comparison for sneakers — you have the Kaijū of sneaker search. Solezilla — Rule the Hype.
