Fifty euros in one corner, well over a hundred in the shop, and it’s the exact same shoe. That price gap now sits on a single page for the Nike Air Force 1 Wild “Wheat Gold”, and it tells you more about who buys it than about the sneaker. This is a women’s model, and in the loose corners of the market women’s sizes always cool off faster than the men’s line.
The Wild is the odd one out of the family. Where a normal Air Force 1 stays sharp and city-ready, this one looks like it just got back from a hike: a thick, heavily treaded outsole instead of the familiar hoop sole, and a wheat-coloured suede-and-mesh upper that reads a lot warmer than the classic white.
The field purple only shows when you flip it
From the side it’s mostly tan and gold, with a tonal swoosh that nearly disappears into the suede. The details hide in the corners: a red zigzag stitch across the toe, a rugged-orange overlay on the heel — the “rugged orange” from the name — and a flash of field purple that only appears once you turn it over. The sole carries a woven, blocked pattern in two shades of wheat on a black bottom. You either get it straight away or not at all; the Wild rarely leaves a middle ground.
Why the 50-euro listing isn’t the real price
Here’s the buyer’s part, because that’s the bit I care about. Retail was 149.99 euros, and the lowest listing on our page is a GOAT pair at 50 euros — but treat that one carefully. It’s a resale listing, almost always a leftover edge size, not a true from-price. The honest regular floor sits higher: StockX around 103 euros, Side Kicks at 127.58, Patta and Stadium Goods near 130 euros, all around or just under old retail. In the US there’s a StockX listing at 60 dollars, again a resale number, and nothing in pounds right now.
What stops me from saying “just wait” is the demand. On our Hypescore it reads 64 out of 100, in the RADIATING band, and shoes running that warm rarely slide much further. The odds of it getting cheaper in a month are slim. So if your size happens to be sitting in that cheap corner, this is the moment — just check which shop is closest to the floor in your size first. The Wheat Gold page stacks every offer with its price history, so you can see at a glance whether this really is the bottom. Where do you land — Grail or Bail? And if the Wild isn’t your thing, there’s plenty more Nike to put side by side.
