Those sizes haven’t been left out. They correspond to half UK sizes: UK 6.5 is EU 40 and UK 9.5 is EU 44. Dr. Martens only publishes its main chart in whole UK sizes, making it look as though there are gaps.
So if you’re looking for an EU 40 or 44 in Dr. Martens, you need to look for a half UK size. This is exactly the kind of detail that can send you a size and a half in the wrong direction when using a generic conversion chart.
Men’s and women’s sizes use the same scale
Dr. Martens uses the same EU and UK sizes for men and women; only the US size differs. The same shoe is US 8 for men and US 9 for women.
