Zwart draagt hier de hoofdrol, en dat pakt slim uit: een donkere basis oogt niet snel vies, verdraagt een lange dag op straat en laat de accenten des te harder knallen. Want die accenten liegen er niet om. Summit White zet scherpe, heldere contrasten neer waar je ze wilt, en Red Orbit — een fel, bijna elektrisch rood — spat er als losse toetsen doorheen. Het graffiti-motief geeft het geheel iets rauws en speels tegelijk: geen nette, uitgekiende kleurvlakken, maar de energie van een spuitbus die net iets te enthousiast is geweest. Precies dat maakt deze DM0108-002 herkenbaar tussen honderd andere Dunks.
Het mooie is dat die drukte gedragen blijft door een rustige zwarte ondergrond, waardoor je 'm alle kanten op stuurt. Draag 'm op een donkere jeans en laat de rode spatten het werk doen, of ga juist all-in met wit en een fel jack dat het Red Orbit opzoekt. Zo houd je 'm scherp zonder dat het te veel wordt.
